Design Concept.

Moscow Design Studio was commissioned to create a new brand identity for the British High School of Art and Design, a University that provides professional education in communication design, architectural design, visual arts, fashion & styling, business & marketing. While exploring different ideas and graphics, I kept questioning myself ‘Can a university like that dare to have one particular graphic style?’. My gut feeling was ‘no’.

So, I aimed to develop a visual concept with one strong, but a flexible idea to adapt to different faculties and purposes while leaving room for further exploration for internal designers.

Mirrors became the main idea. It communicates the reflection of reality, the artist’s knowledge, ideas, the background through his art and design work, and a learning process: knowledge transfer from teacher to student.
